Tayto Park Theme Park and Zoo
Tayto Park is Ireland largest theme park and is located 2 km from Ashbourne. It has a range of activities for children of all ages including Ireland’s only outdoor rollercoaster (Cú Chulainn), The Rotator and Air Race, Sky Walk, Ziplines, 5D cinema to name but a few.
Younger children can enjoy the steam train express, honey pot bears, shot tower and air jumpers.
The zoo is home to large and diverse collection of animals including an Amur tiger and Ocelot. There is also a growing primate collection and a selection of exotic birds from around the globe.
Entry also includes a tour of Ireland’s favourite crisp factory.
Entry fee is €15 per adult /child (children under 3 Free)
There is a fee for the larger rides such as the rollercoaster (€3-4 per ride) There is also a wristband available for €15 offering unlimited access to all rides for the day.
Wooly Wards Farm
(All ages 3-12)
Ireland’s self proclaimed favourite activity farm is only 10 minutes away in Oldtown, Co.Dublin.
Activities include a tour of the farm, arts and crafts, Pony rides, Fairy Wood Walk, Scary Mary’s House, Animal petting shed, Cupcake decorating.
Entrance: Children €10 Adults and under 2s €6. (All activities included in entrance fee)

With a large selection of animals, open paly areas and a coffee shop Newgrange Farm is ideal for a sunny day out. Bring a picnic and enjoy views over the beautiful Boyne Valley. A play area with sand-pits, maze, toy tractors and a dedicated area for under 5s.
Newgrange is a genuine working farm open to the public. The farm, only 30 minutes from Dublin surrounds the famous national monument of Newgrange. It is a family owned and run working farm and educational facility, where adults and children can try bottle feeding, holding, feeding, petting and seeing all the farm animals and poultry and so much more.
Farm Sheep Race takes place on Sunday, bank holidays and special event day afternoons (weather permitting) is great fun for everyone! There is also a tractor-trailer ride available, which takes its passengers down through the farm crops and livestock, to the River Boyne and national monuments and past the tooth fairies’ palace! (Only available for booked groups, or weather permitting, when sufficient numbers want it and farm work allows it).

Rathbeggan Lakes Adventure Park
Activities include. Fishing, Abseiling, Climbing Wall, Bungee Trampoline, Fairy Garden, Heritage Park, Pedal Boats, Pet Farm, Picnic Areas, Playground, Pond Dipping, Water Roller, Zip Line.
Entrance is €2.50 (Adults and Children) with €1 tokens available to buy. Prices for attractions such as paddle boats, water rollers etc range from 4 – 7 tokens.
Phoenix Park Dublin
20minutes by car (all ages)
The Phoenix Park, over twice the size of Central Park and one of the largest parks in any European city. Home to the President of Ireland and also to some 500 wild
fallow deer, it contains almost 1750 acres of meadowlands, woodland walks, historic features, 14km cycle paths, Café, picnic area and much more. A must see when visiting the Capital City.
Rent a bike in Dublin’s Phoenix Park. This is super outdoor fun, suitable for all ages. No experience needed. From €5.

Puddinhill Outdoor and Indoor Activity Centre
Indoor and pitdoor activity centre catering for all ages and interests.
Smaller children will love Huckleberry’s Den, an Indoor Soft Play Adventure Centre with an Indoor Karting track and an Outdoor Animal Farm…….all for kids! The Soft Play is suitable for kids from 1 up to 9-10 years of age and the Karting is suitable for kids between 3 and 6 years of age and is super fun!

This Egyptian themed entertainment centre boasts an interactive indoor waterpark with superbowl speed slide and the Boomerang! Other attractions include Atlantis Cove play area (ages 2-5), bowling alley, crazy golf, rock climbing, sky-walking, video games and simulators and lots more.

Fun Galaxy and Jump Zone, Ashbourne
Fun Galaxy play centre and trampoline park is an indoor centre with parent designed climbing frames, slides, ramps and mazes, all designed to stimulate and promote flexibility an strength and keep children of all ages entertained for hours.
The trampoline park has 500m2 of trampolines, with foam pit, dodgeball arena and basketball trampoline. (Waivers must be signed by parents)

Lo-Lo Town, Navan
